Whether you're a new parent (or soon to be!) or you've been at it for a while, you've already figured out there's one undeniable fact-there's no perfect way to parent children. But there is one piece of advice that's always sound: ask for help! We are a place for families of all kinds to learn from each other. ► Childrens Defense Fund

Children's Defense Fund (CDF) was founded in 1973 by The mission of the CDF is to Leave No Child Behind and to ensure every child a Healthy Start a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities. We pay particular attention to the needs of poor and minority children and those with disabilities.
